Dr. Anwar is a longevity and wellness expert. Her practice is the first of its kind in Santa Barbara, where she combines her experience in primary care with her expertise in Hematology and Oncology.

Meet Asma Anwar MD
Dr. Anwar is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, where her research focused on liver diseases. She then went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle, which is consistently ranked as the top residency program for primary care in the United States. She stayed on to finish her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the world-renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, recognized for its leadership in bone marrow transplantation and immunotherapy.
During her fellowship, Dr. Anwar participated in clinical research focused on hematologic malignancies, where she contributed to writing and designing clinical trials, recruiting patients for these studies, and authoring and presenting scientific papers at major national and international conferences. Her most recent publication is in Leukemia. Dr. Anwar previously worked at the Ridley Tree Cancer Center in Santa Barbara. She is affiliated with the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Dr. Anwar resides in Santa Barbara with her husband and daughter. She has a passion for travel and has explored nearly 100 countries. She also enjoys hiking, reading, and playing chess and tennis. An enthusiastic sports fan, she loves watching soccer and cricket.
